Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to our patients, demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, and uphold the highest standards of nursing practice. The RN will work collaboratively with physicians, healthcare staff, and patients’ families to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:
Assess patients’ health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results.
Operate medical equipment and assist in diagnostic procedures.

Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
Advocate for patients’ rights and well-being.

Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with nursing practices and standards.

Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Assist with the coordination of patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and other support staff.

Qualifications:
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
Licensure: Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Experience: Previous clinical experience as an RN preferred.

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move patients or medical equipment as necessary.
Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for operating medical equipment.

Work Environment:
Hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility setting.
Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required.
